It wasn’t until my early 20s that I decided to truly embrace my natural hair. Growing up, I had always admired the beauty and strength of natural curls, but it wasn’t until I embarked on my own natural hair journey that I realized how deeply it would transform my life. This was a pivotal moment for me—a time when I not only sought to care for my hair but to nourish it in ways that would make it flourish for years to come. 

As a college student with limited funds, I quickly learned to be resourceful. With no room in my budget for expensive hair care products, I turned to my kitchen. I spent countless nights mixing up homemade remedies, experimenting with natural ingredients that were affordable yet effective. Little did I know that those humble concoctions would one day form the foundation of Nahtural Nuhbian—a brand dedicated to celebrating the beauty and versatility of natural hair.

The desire to have healthy, resilient hair became an obsession of mine, but more importantly, it became a mission. I knew that my creations were more than just hair products—they were a testament to the strength and creativity of the natural hair community. I wanted to share that empowerment with others, especially women like me, who have often felt overlooked by mainstream beauty standards.

Today, as a proud young Black woman-owned business, Nahtural Nuhbian is more than a brand; it’s a movement. It’s a reflection of the trials and triumphs that so many of us face on our natural hair journeys. My goal is to provide products that are not only effective but are also rooted in care, love, and the shared experiences of our community.
